Funding is now available for electric school bus charging infrastructure.
The money comes from the $4.2 billion Clean Water, Clean Air, and Green Jobs Environmental Bond Act. It will help make installing direct current fast charging stations more affordable for public school districts.
One of those districts is Lake George, which will be one of the first to receive school bus voucher funding.
Lake George is excited to be a part of these new opportunities, Superintendent John Luthringer said.
