Gansevoort man gets over 4 years in prison for unlicensed gun sales
A Gansevoort man was sentenced on Tuesday to more than 4 years in prison for selling firearms without a license.
Jacob Boldt, 35, had previously admitted to selling multiple firearms, identifying criminals as good customers for ghost guns and had a stolen firearm, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
Boldt was banned from having firearms because of a previous felony conviction.
In addition to 51 months in prison, Boldt was fined $5,000 and ordered to serve 2 years of supervised release. A shotgun was seized by law enforcement.
