Glens Falls woman allegedly drove while on drugs, struck e-bike rider

A Glens Falls woman is accused of driving while impaired and striking a man on an e-bike with her vehicle. The crash happened on June 6 at the intersection of Broadway and Schuyler Street in the town of Fort Edward. Monika Juliano, 57, is accused of being under the influence of drugs when she struck and seriously injured the bicyclist, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened on June 6 at the intersection of Broadway and Schuyler Street in the town of Fort Edward.

Monika Juliano, 57, was under the influence of drugs said police, when she struck and seriously injured the bicyclist, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

There was a child in the vehicle, according to police.

Juliano was charged with vehicular assault, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and driving while ability impaired by drugs.

She was issued appearance tickets and is due in Fort Edward Town Court at a later date.
