Gun, drug bust leads to Albany arrest

A man has been charged in an Albany gun and drug bust.

Jamil Jordan, 36, was arrested Monday evening in the 500 block of Third Street.

Police searched his car and found fentanyl and powdered cocaine, they said.

Investigators found more fentanyl, crack cocaine and a loaded handgun at Jordan’s apartment, they said.

Jordan was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia. He was sent to the Albany County Jail.
