High winds knock out Fultonville’s water pumping station

Fultonville asks residents to conserve water

Fultonville asks residents to conserve water after high winds knock out pumping station.

The village of Fultonville is asking residents to conserve water after the storm.

The wind knocked out power to the pumping station, so the village cannot pump more water in the tank right now.

Village officials said the outage may last until late Friday. The Department of Public Works is reaching out to Montgomery County Emergency Services to see if they can use a generator to end the restriction.

The village park is also closed because of fallen trees and broken fences.
