A Chinese citizen living in Colonie will spend the next two years behind bars, after admitting to taking stolen property across state lines.
A Chinese citizen living in Colonie will spend the next two years behind bars, after admitting to taking stolen property across state lines.
Wu Feng Zheng, 54, was sentenced Friday to 25 months in prison.
Zhang admitted that between June and December 2022, he stole merchandise from home improvement stores in several different states, and took those stolen items to his Colonie home.
Authorities found about $100,000 in stolen goods at the time of his arrest.
Zheng faces three years of post-release supervision. He must also pay back $296,881.92 in restitution to the two home improvement chains he stole from.
