Maple Festival set for Saturday in Warren County

People can enjoy Maple Syrup in Warren County this weekend.

The Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center on Route 9N in Bolton is hosting its fourth annual Maple Festival on Saturday.

The event will feature tours of the Sugar Trail observing the sugarbush, sap collection and sugar house.

Stops include an explanation of the history and science of maple sugaring and end with a taste of golden, amber and dark maple syrup served with French toast stick dippers.

Tours start every 30 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Reservations may be made online. Tickets are $5 per person. There is also a $5 per vehicle day use parking fee, with proceeds used to support Up Yonda’s operations as an environmental education center.
