There’s a new spot to stop for some Mexican treats in Albany.

The ribbon was cut this week at Daisies Pasteles on Lark Street.

The bakery and Mexican dessert shop is owned by Daisy Diaz, who started her homemade custom cake business during the pandemic.

This is the 14th new business to open its doors along the Lark Street corridor in the last 18 months.
