A new partnership in Albany County could help in the fight against opioid related drug overdoses.

County Executive Dan McCoy has announced that the county is teaming with Catholic Charities to provide local businesses with free Narcan and fentanyl test strip kits.
In addition to the kits, he said they will also offer staff training on how to administer Narcan.

Opioid-related drug overdoses are one of the leading causes of death across the country.
