Saratoga County has passed a new law, aimed at kicking squatters to the curb.

The Unlawful Intruder Law will allow property owners to request the removal of any illegal occupants. The

Saratoga County Board of Supervisors said it wants to protect homeowners. The new rule will also give law enforcement more authority to remove squatters.

The law takes effect in July.
