There is a sign warning drivers of pedestrian crossings near the Code Blue shelter on Route 9, according to the city’s Department of Public Safety.
This comes after a homeless person was hit there while crossing Route 9 earlier this year.
On Broadway at the Circular Street intersection, there are two new signs, asking people not to give money to people in the roadway.
There’s also signs at the three taxi stands in the city that warn people against unregulated taxi operations.
