New vinyl listening lounge unanimously approved by Albany’s planning board
A bar that wants to be Albany’s first vinyl listening lounge has gotten approval from city officials.
Larkin Hi-Fi plans to be open in time for next month’s Tulip Festival on Lark Street, they said.
The name is a tribute to the former Larkin Restaurant, which was opened in the same spot before closing in 2005.
The bar got unanimous approval from the city planning board, the Times Union reported.
They plan to feature craft cocktails and vinyl records on turntables, they said.
