North Greenbush Police warn of scam targeting seniors
North Greenbush Police are warning people of a scam in which people claim to be the grandchild of someone who is in trouble and needs to be sent money immediately.
Police in North Greenbush are warning residents about a very active “grandparent scam” in the community.
A caller will claim to be a grandchild saying they are in some legal trouble and need money sent to them immediately.
Police have already gotten two reports of people showing up at homes to collect money from people.
