Pair accused of selling fake Apple products
Two people are accused of trying to sell fake Apple products.
State Police received a complaint from a Saratoga County resident last week that someone had attempted to sell the victim a counterfeit electronic device via Facebook Marketplace. The item was advertised, packaged and sold using a counterfeit Apple trademark, police said.
Albany resident Joshua D. Campbell, 24, and Hudson resident Danielle J. Ellis are each charged with trademark counterfeit, petit larceny, scheme to defraud.
Campbell is also facing an additional charge of resisting arrest.
Campbell was issued an appearance ticket and released. She is due in Albany City Court on Feb. 26. Ellis was released and due in Albany City Court on Feb. 27.
