Pair accused of stealing from Washington County building

Two people are accused of stealing property from a Washington County building.

Mathieu M. Forette, 23, and Carlos I. Ruiz Sr., 43, allegedly broke into a building on Notch Lane in the town of White Creek and took property, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Forette and Ruiz were charged with a felony count of burglary and misdemeanor count of criminal possession of stolen property. They were released on their own recognizance and due in White Creek Town Court at a later date.

Additional charges are likely.
