Two Pittsfield residents face drug charges after traffic stop

Two Pittsfield residents are facing drug charges after being pulled over on the Taconic State Parkway in Columbia County.

Two Pittsfield residents are facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Columbia County.

State Police stopped a vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway in Taghkanic on July 2 around 7:20 p.m. for traffic violations. 

Krista A. Chadwell, 37, and Jerome Grandson, 36, allegedly had 28 grams of cocaine, 9 grams of heroin and over $2,300.

They were each charged with drug possession charges as well as tampering with physical evidence and criminal use of paraphernalia. They were arraigned in Claverack Town Court and released on their own recognizance. They are due back in court at a later date.
