Police: Albany man sold fentanyl

An Albany man is accused of selling fentanyl.

Jahvan Martin, 28, allegedly sold more than 40 grams of the drug on two occasions in June and July 2023, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

Martin was arrested Thursday and arraigned on two counts of distribution of fentanyl.

He faces up to 40 years in prison, and at least four years of supervised release.

He was detained pending a hearing on March 11.
