Police Benevolent Association, state reach new union deal

NYRA has unveiled its new renovations and upgrades to the lower level of the clubhouse at Saratoga Race Course.

There’s a new deal in place with a union that represents more than 1,100 New York state employees.

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the ratification Tuesday of a three-year labor agreement with the Police Benevolent Association of New York State.

The ratified contract includes raises in each year of the agreement, and up to 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave.

It was approved by 97% of members voting.

The agreement runs through March 31, 2026.
