Police: Bennington County man assaulted woman

Police have arrested a Bennington County man for allegedly assaulting a woman.

Cotye Maisonet, 32, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct, Vermont State Police said.

The alleged incident happened on Thursday at around 3;40 p.m.

Maisonet was released and is due in Vermont Superior Court-Bennington Criminal Division on March 25 at 8:15 a.m.
