Police: Hoosick Falls man pushed victim, violated protection order
A Hoosick Falls man is facing charges after a domestic incident.
Police were called to 14 1st Street Tuesday for a reported stabbing.
An investigation determined that Clifford Grover Jr., 19, pushed the victim. No stabbing occurred.
However, Grover violated an order of protection that prohibited him from having contact with the victim.
Grover was charged with criminal contempt and harassment. He was arraigned in Hoosick Falls Village Court and sent to Rensselaer County Jail on bail of $1,000 cash or $10,000 secured bond.
