Police: Queensbury man held knife to person’s throat

A Queensbury man is accused of holding a knife to a person’s throat.

State Police said John W. Janos, 57, was arguing with the victim, when he grabbed the knife. The person was not injured.

Janos is also accused of violating an order of protection.

He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal contempt and menacing. He was transported to Warren County Jail to await arraignment.
