Police: Sand Lake man stole money during domestic incident

Police have arrested a Sand Lake man in connection with a domestic incident.

James Cooper allegedly entered a home without permission and got involved in a dispute, North Greenbush Police said. He is accused of taking $80 in cash.

Cooper had previously been arrested by the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office for something else.

He was arraigned at North Greenbush Town Court and sent to Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. He is to return to that court at a later date
