Police: Troy man distributed explicit photo without victim’s knowledge

Police arrested a Troy man on Tuesday for allegedly distributing an explicit image.

Peter J. Rupp, 44, distributed the victim’s photo without their consent or knowledge, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said. Rupp allegedly violated a court order protecting the victim.

Rupp was charged with felony counts of aggravated criminal contempt and criminal contempt and a misdemeanor of unlawful dissemination or publication of an intimate image.

Rupp was arraigned in Milton Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail.
