Police: Troy man was drunk, fell asleep at wheel
Troy man accused of being drunk, falling asleep at wheel in North Greenbush.
A Troy man is facing charges for allegedly falling asleep at the wheel in the middle of an intersection.
Jeremy Fobare was stopped at the intersection of North Greenbush Road and Route 43 at around 3 a.m. on April 14, police said.
Officer suspected he was under the influence of alcohol and he failed sobriety test. A breath test revealed a blood alcohol level of 0.17% – more than twice the legal limit.
He was charged with DWI and operation with a BAC greater than 0.08% and released on appearance tickets.
