Police: Valatie man struck person with candle

A Valatie man is accused of hitting someone multiple times with a large candle.

State Police responded to a domestic incident on Oct. 6 just before 11 a.m.

Jonathan Garcia, 31, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment, obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest.

Garcia was arraigned in Kinderhook Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
