Winning pumpkin weighs more than 2,000 pounds at Saratoga Giant Pumpkinfest.
There were some giant pumpkins in Saratoga this weekend.
One pumpkin weighed in at over 2,000 pounds at Saturday’s Saratoga Springs Giant Pumpkin Fest in the City Center garage.
Jimmy Hazeltine of New York took home the first-place prize. Second place went to Dan Kruszyna of Massachusetts, with an 1,814-pound pumpkin. Rounding out the top three were West Virginia residents Lois and Terry Nelson with a pumpkin that clocked in at 1,727 pounds.
Clifton Park resident Patrick Mickle took home the prize for heaviest pumpkin in Saratoga County.
