A returning partnership is making sure people here in the Capital Region don’t go hungry during the holidays.

The New York State Restaurant Association is once again teaming up with the Regional Food Bank for the annual Holiday Hunger Appeal program.

Participating restaurants will have Regional Food Bank signage with QR codes, driving diners to a customized landing page where they can make donations right from their phone.

During this campaign, the Regional Food Bank will provide four meals for every $1 donation it receives.

The campaign is the Regional Food Bank’s largest and most significant fundraising event of the year.

The 40th annual Holiday Hunger Appeal campaign is happening now through Christmas Eve.

If you have any last-minute Christmas shopping to do, you may see a display for the campaign set up at Crossgates Mall.
