Rensselaer County held its monthly Honor a Deceased Veteran ceremony on Tuesday.

The county recognized the life and service of John Felts.  

John was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving during a crucial period of the conflict with the U.S. Navy.

John enlisted in the Navy when he was 18 years old back in 1965.
County Executive Steve McLaughlin presented a county commendation to John’s family.
