Saratoga BLM hosting Freedom Fest on Friday in High Rock Park from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Saratoga Black Lives Matter is holding an event to mark the end of slavery in New York state on Friday.

Freedom Fest will take place at High Rock Park from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The group says it wants to celebrate the 197^th-year anniversary of Emancipation Day in New York state.

The event features vendors, musicians and artists from across the Capital Region.
