A Saratoga County woman is being honored for service to her community.

Cynthia Hollowood is this year’s Joseph Dalton Community Service Award winner. The award is voted on by the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce and recognizes community service for more than 25 years.

Hollowood has served as the executive director of Saratoga Sponsor-A-Scholar since 2020. Before that, she was general manager and partner at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs for nearly 40 years.

She will receive the award next month at the Saratoga Race Course.
