Schenectady man gets 20 years in prison for child pornography crimes

A Schenectady man is headed to prison for 20 years on child pornography charges.

Richard Nejame posed as a teen boy online and encouraged young girls to send nude photos and videos on Snapchat.

He then threatened to publicly post the photos if they didn’t send more, investigators said.

This happened between about October 2022 and May 2023.

Nejame faces 25 years of supervised release. He must also register as a sex offender.
