Schenectady police getting a pay raise
SCHENECTADY – Those who serve and protect in the Electric City are getting a pay raise.

The Schenectady City Council has approved a wage increase for city police officers.
On July 1, 2025, officers will receive a 3.5% raise, followed by another 3.5% at the start of the following year.
In total, officers will receive a 14% pay raise over the next four years.
