UPDATE: The NYS Missing Child Alert has been cancelled.

North Greenbush Police are asking for help locating 14-year-old Matthew Ramos. They say Ramos went missing from his home in Eagle Rock Apartments sometime late Thursday night or early Friday morning.

A missing child alert went out for Ramos Thursday around 6:30 a.m.

Ramos is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs around 190 pounds. He could be wearing a green hooded sweatshirt that says “Stay Sober” with beige sweatpants and white Nike Air Force One sneakers. He could also have a black skateboard with him, according to police.

Anyone with outside surveillance cameras in the areas of Defreestville, Highland Park, or Mansions is asked to check for Ramos. It could assist police in their search.

Additionally, police are encouraging Goff Middle School students with any information about Ramos that may be helpful to contact them.
