A 17-year-old wanted in a Las Vegas robbery was arrested last month in Saratoga County.

New York State Police troopers stopped a vehicle on Dec. 27 around 8:40 on the Northway in Moreau for a traffic violation. The teen was a passenger in the vehicle and he was not wearing a seat belt, police said. The juvenile initially refused to provide any identifying information, but police found that there was an active warrant in Nevada.

The 17-year-old was arrested. The driver of the vehicle and two other passengers were also detained but later released without charges.

The teen suspect was arraigned in Saratoga County Youth Part Court and remanded to the Capital District Juvenile Secure Detention Facility as a fugitive from justice. The juvenile will remain there pending extradition back to Nevada.
