Tennessee fugitive captured in Washington County

A fugitive from Tennessee was captured in Washington County.

Michael T. Fanney, 30, was arrested Tuesday in the town of Hebron on a fugitive from justice warrant.

Fanney is accused of secretly leaving on his probation. He was sentenced to 44 years of probation for narcotics and weapons charges in Tennessee, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said. 

Fanney was arraigned at Washington County Centralized Arraignment Court and held in jail pending another arraignment in Washington County Court.
