Capital Region Rep. Paul Tonko visited Tara Kitchen in Guilderland on Tuesday morning to help promote small businesses.

Small businesses play a critical role in powering the economy, Tonko said. That includes tech, retail and restaurants, he said.

Small Business Saturday drove an estimated $18 billion in spending in 2022.
