Tri-City ValleyCats to join forces with Tunnel to Towers Foundation for Aug. 6 game

The Tri-City ValleyCats are joining forces with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation to raise money for veteran homelessness.

The game will take place on Aug. 6 at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. There will be a 9/11 Never Forget mobile exhibit.

The first 1,000 fans will receive an Andy Pettitte bobblehead.

The Tri-City ValleyCats will donate $2,500 to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

“It’s going to be a phenomenal, historic day for Troy. We talk about our first responders,” said Troy Mayor Carmella Mantello.  “Often if you think about it, we’re running out of homes. We’re running away from danger.”
