Pharrin Greene is charged with manslaughter, accused of causing the death of Bernard Rogers in Ballston Spa.
Rogers was hit in the head with a metal baseball bat, according to investigators. That caused a traumatic brain injury and a lacerated liver. He died a year after that attack.
Greene was originally charged with assault, but his charges were upgraded after the death.
