A local boxer who is a four-time national Olympic champion is getting some help from her hometown.
Jadah Robinson has been a champion since she was a pre-teen. In 2019, Robinson became the first girl from the Capital Region to win the USA Boxing Junior Olympics.
She started training when she was just 5 years old at the Griswold Heights Community Center. She’s now a newly signed professional boxer, getting ready for her first match in October.
Troy donated Robinson equipment on Thursday afternoon to help her train for that bout.
