Troy man accused of stealing identities to file for jobless benefits
A Troy man is accused of obtaining fraudulent unemployment benefits.
Jaliyl McMillan, 33, allegedly used people's names, dates of birth and Social Security benefits to steal their identities and apply for benefits.
This allegedly happened from July 2020 to August 2021, the U.S. District Attorney's Office said.

This allegedly happened from July 2020 to August 2021, the U.S. District Attorney’s Office said.
McMillan was arraigned Wednesday in U.S. District Court and detained pending a detention hearing.
He faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted.
