Troy Police arrest two after traffic stop
Two Troy men are facing charges after a traffic stop.
Officers stopped a vehicle on 3rd Street near Monroe Street last Wednesday, July 10.
Tyeshawn T. Fitch, 25, allegedly had an illegal loaded handgun and drugs. Xavier J. Carr, 23, also had narcotics, Troy Police said.
Fitch and Carr were each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
Fitch was also charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Carr was arraigned and released. Fitch was sent to jail and has since posted bail.
