Troy’s popular outdoor farmers market is returning Saturday for its 25th season.

The Troy Waterfront Farmers Market started with just 20 vendors in a parking lot along the Hudson River.

Now it has expanded to more than 100 vendors that span six city blocks on River Street and around Monument Square.

More than 15,000 people visit the market on its busiest days for fresh, local produce, meats and handmade crafts.
