Troy woman faces drug charges after traffic stop

A Troy woman is facing drug charges after a traffic stop on Monday.

State Police pulled over a vehicle on 787 in Menands at around 6:30 p.m. for traffic violations. The driver was identified as 21-year-old Hannah E. Olszowy. She was found to be driving under the influence of drugs, police said. Olszowy also allegedly had multiple hallucinogenic substances and cannabis in the vehicle.

Olszowy was charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of cannabis, driving while ability impaired by drugs and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

Olszowy was transported to the State Police headquarters, where police said she refused to provide a blood sample.

Olszowy was arraigned in Menands Town Court and sent to Albany County Jail in lieu of bail of $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond or $30,000 partially secured bond.
