Valatie community members help clean neighborhood park

Community members in the village of Valatie did their part to beautify their neighborhood.

A group of volunteers joined forces with their local climate smart committee.

This team spent more than a dozen days clearing vine hurting the trees in River Street Park.

Organizers have also been clearing invasive species, which can cause problems for the bird habitat, they said.
