Vermont man wanted on sexual assault charges turns himself in
A Bennington County man wanted on sexual assault and other charges has turned himself in.
Todd Thompson, 48, was wanted in connection with an incident that happened in Shaftsbury back in December.
Vermont State Police said Thompson turned himself in on Monday, Jan. 13 at the Shaftbury police station. He was arraigned in Bennington County Criminal Court on charges of aggravated sexual assault, aggravated stalking with a deadly weapon, and aggravated first-degree domestic assault. Thompson was sent without bail to Marble Valley Correctional Facility.
Vermont State Police thanked the public for the tips received during the search for Thompson.
