Volunteer effort in Troy helps give kids much-needed bunk beds
Volunteers from the Mechanicville chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace teamed up in Troy over the weekend to build two bunk beds at a home.
Volunteers from the Mechanicville chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace teamed up in Troy over the weekend to build two bunk beds at a home.
Mayors of both Troy and Watervliet were there to help put the beds together with four young boys.
Thanks to their efforts, those boys now have a bed to sleep in.
You can also help the cause by donating to the organization or even dropping off twin bedding sheets, blankets, and pillows at the Watervliet City Hall mayor’s office.
