Warning issued to watch out for farm vehicles on the road

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is urging motorists to watch out for slow-moving farm vehicles.

Police are reminding people that it is the middle of farming season, and the summer hay season is in full swing.

“Our farmers are a very important part of our community and we want to keep them safe. Even if you’re in a rush and following a vehicle that is traveling slowly, the rules of the road still apply. Please do not drive erratically,” Sheriff Jeffrey Smith said in a statement.
