The city of Pittsfield was dealing with a water main break on Wednesday.

The break is on Mountainview Drive, the city said.

Water service will be unavailable from Jackson Street to the cul-de-sac while repairs are underway.

Residents may see discolored water in the vicinity.

When water service returns, you may still see that discoloration.

The city says you can just run cold water in your faucets until it clears up.

If discoloration does not improve, call the water department.
