The city of Watervliet is under a boil water advisory due to a massive water main break at the Watervliet Arsenal.

The break would likely be fixed Wednesday, the mayor said, but the water must be tested before the boil water advisory is lifted. It could be two days before it is lifted, the mayor said.

Contractors have been on the scene to finish the repairs.
