Whitney Viewing Stand opens for season

People are getting their first chance of the season to watch horses train on the Oklahoma Track.

The Whitney Viewing Stand will be open to the public Thursday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Opening Day for the Saratoga 40-day meet is July 11.

This season will feature The Whitney on Aug. 3 and the Travers on Aug. 24.

And the 156^th Belmont Stakes will run Saturday, June 8.
